my plants are starting to produce fruit – except for broccoli and cabbage which will come later- I thought today would be a perfect time to take some pictures of the plants progress.

I left off with my corn producing silks which will lead to ears of corn as long as they are pollinated. With the rain that we received yesterday much of the pollen has gotten wet and there is nothing that I can do except wait for it to dry and try to place it on the silks of the corn.

I just hope that before it rained that all the silks that were growing were pollinated. This is basically all I can hope for. Normally it doesn’t rain this much in August, but it does happen and it is something that needs to be accounted for. The good news is that my plants did need some rain and that included the corn stalks as well. I like to look on the good side of things especially when it is out of my control.

<a is growing so that means it was pollinated and all that is left is just time for it to get as big as possible without getting too tough.

I wanted to mention my tomatoes today as well since after the rain there were many cherry tomatoes that had fallen to the grown. This was mostly from the wind that came after the rain which is normal.

<a
