a close. There is always a busy part of the season where I collect the most vegetables and fruit. It looks like the past two weeks are the max I will get from my garden.

This not only includes corn and tomatoes which I collected this week, but with all the melons I picked around the same time, cucumbers, zucchini, and the pumpkins which I will be harvesting very soon.

Most of my cherry tomatoes are done and with only a couple of plants left they seem to be not producing anymore. This is why I say the summer season is coming to a close. I still have plenty of harvests to come, but as far as getting the most in one harvest that part is done.

Right now I have been picking one pepper at a time and I know in the near future I probably will be picking multiple peppers in one day once I reach the climax of my pepper season. This goes for my fall crop as well once they begin producing fruit.

At the moment my Roma tomatoes have reached their maximum potential for the season. I will be picking more, but it won’t be as large as what I did today. I collected 50 pounds of Romas which is the most I think I have ever picked of these tomatoes. You know that this means more sauce for Winter storage.

I filled five bowls with large Roma tomatoes this morning.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium freezing a few to see how that would work.

I also cooked some first and placed them in the refrigerator and when I feel like having corn on the cob I can just heat one up and enjoy it.
