Whenever planting inside the one thing that plants lack is the ability to adjust to ranging temperatures, wind, rain, and other conditions.\u00a0 If you plant inside like myself, then you will know that they are not exposed to these elements until you eventually place them outside.\u00a0 Before placing them in the ground you first must “harden off” your plants before cultivating them in your garden.<\/p>\n
By hardening your plants you are basically getting them used to the elements in which they will be exposed to throughout the season.\u00a0 It is an important process that you must utilize to become a better gardener.\u00a0 If you do not apply this process your plants may get shocked by the sudden conditions that it could die or produce very poor results.<\/p>\n
Since the temperatures are relatively still too cold for most of my plants I have begun to place broccoli outside.\u00a0 These plants are able to withstand much colder temperatures than let’s say watermelon.\u00a0 You can usually begin doing this when the temperatures reach 40 degrees Fahrenheit.\u00a0 This is the perfect temperature for broccoli to be placed outside.<\/p>\n
Don’t wait too long to do this process because warm weather is not good for these plants.\u00a0 At the first sign of bolting the season is over for that plant.\u00a0 Try this simple step and see how you can produce a much better harvest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
