Tomato Seeds Into Pots"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the day when I start planting all my tomato seeds indoors and placing them under lights.\u00a0 So far I have planted my leafy plants such as lettuce and spinach.\u00a0 I also have planted some of the more important flowers indoors and now it is time for the first fruit of the season.<\/p>\n<p>This is when the season starts to get a little bit busier with many plants growing inside.\u00a0 Once I plant spinach outside I can then grow some more indoors under the lights that were used on my spinach plants.\u00a0 I will probably be planting some more fruits and vegetables under those lights.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I only planted five pots of steakhouse tomatoes and four with cherry tomato seeds.\u00a0 The entire packet of 25 super sauce seeds were planted in 25 containers.\u00a0 I have found that these tomatoes are perfect for just sauce which is what I end up doing with all the extra tomatoes I get.<\/p>\n<p>This is exactly what I did last year and I found it to be a very good idea and that is why I am doing it again.\u00a0 I was actually a day late on planting my tomato seeds, but I am pretty sure one day will not affect the growth of my plants.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Picture-1-030.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1281\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1281\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Picture-1-030-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"25 Pots with Super Sauce Tomato Seeds\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Picture-1-030-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Picture-1-030-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Picture-1-030.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Above are the 25 pots I used to planting my super sauce tomatoes which will be left under fluorescent lights.\u00a0 It will probably take them a week or two to actually see them sprouting.\u00a0 Although with the good weather we have been having they might shoot up through the soil sooner.<\/p>\n<p>I used the same exact pots for my other tomatoes as well.\u00a0 I have found that these containers are perfect for tomatoes and they can hold these plants for quite a while which is good because I won&#8217;t be putting them in the ground until May or June.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily I was able to place all the pots underneath one fluorescent light fixture.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t think I was going to have enough room, but luckily they all fit with two rows and two pots deep.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/Picture-1-035-1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1282\"><img loading=\"lazy\" 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Right now I have planted everything that I can, but once I get spinach into the ground I can then plant much more.\u00a0 I
