Tomato, Zucchini, and Ruby Glow Harvest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am now getting some more tomatoes that are coming from most of my plants.\u00a0 There are only a couple that don&#8217;t have any fruit yet, but they do have flowers which should bring some fruit very soon.<\/p>\n<p>As I can see it looks like I am getting steakhouse tomatoes along with some cherry tomatoes.\u00a0 I am probably getting some Roma tomatoes, but I am not quite certain which ones they are.\u00a0 I would say in about a week I should know if I have any Roma tomatoes growing.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here is just a small steakhouse tomato that is starting to come in.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Picture-1-059.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also have some tomatoes that I am not sure exactly what they are.\u00a0 The first ones that were starting to grow on plants a week ago are beginning to look like Roma tomatoes.\u00a0 They don&#8217;t have the pear like shape yet, but I am certain that they are the super sauce tomatoes that I planted.<\/p>\n<p><a sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I discussed a zucchini that was starting to come through <a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/tying-tomato-plants-first-fruit\/\">in my last post<\/a> and I wanted to show you the progress that it has been making.\u00a0 It is getting bigger each day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Picture-1-022-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1455\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Picture-1-022-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"First Zucchini\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I might be picking this zucchini much sooner than I thought.\u00a0 I would say it has another week of growing before I actually pick it.<\/p>\n<p>Some more Ruby glow lettuce was picked yesterday as well.\u00a0 I collected 69 leaves and I believe that I have a few more harvests to make before they start to go to seed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Picture-1-029.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I have also noticed that one of my pumpkin plants has produced a female flower this early.\u00a0 I was shocked to find it opened yesterday morning.\u00a0 This is a little early for them to flower, but I am not complaining and all I have to do is wait and see if it has been pollinated.\u00a0 Only time will tell if this happened
