Tomorrow my Roma tomatoes will be made into sauce while my larger steakhouse ones will be sliced up and placed into sandwiches.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I have plenty of Roma tomatoes that I could make another batch of sauce once I use all the ones that I picked this afternoon. It all depends on what I am in the mood to make when I start picking all the others that I have left.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7384.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2076 size-medium\" title=\"Roma Tomatoes\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7384-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Roma Tomatoes\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7384-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7384-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7384-1024x683.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7384-700x467.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also picked some more steakhouse tomatoes as well which will be best used as sandwich rather than making into sauces. Although they can be made into a salsa dip which is quite good and another way to utilize these large fruits.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7381.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2078 size-medium\" title=\"Steakhouse Tomatoes\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7381-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Steakhouse Tomatoes\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7381-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7381-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7381-1024x683.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_7381-700x467.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My melons are still growing and are probably now working on the sugars rather than growing more in size. The first melon will most likely be the cantaloupes which I tested the stem that connects to the fruit and I would say another few days and it will be ready for picking.<\/p>\n<p>My watermelons still have some time left and will not be ready for some time.
