I have only planted my onions outside, but today it was about time to get some more spring stuff in the ground.\u00a0 Peas and radishes usually grow well together and I always put them in the same row.\u00a0 The weather is still cool, but these plants will be able to tolerate these types of temperatures.<\/p>\n

I had some peas left over from last year and decided that I would grow some more of them.\u00a0 They came out quite well last season<\/a> and I really liked their unique flavor.<\/p>\n

\"Pea<\/a><\/p>\n

I knew I was going to grow radishes again because there is nothing like home grown radishes.\u00a0 They were so much better than store bough ones that I just had to plant them again.<\/p>\n

\"Radish<\/a><\/p>\n

Today was a little bit warmer and I was able to place many plants outside for some hardening off.\u00a0 It will take some time to get them ready for the outside and planted into the ground, but starting as soon as possible will get them in the ground quicker.<\/p>\n

I also have room inside that I think I will start planting another wave of alyssum and dill.\u00a0 I will also have to start planting my other flowers that I will be using for attracting bees and other insects.<\/p>\n

Some of these other plants include corn flowers, sunflowers, statice, and many others.\u00a0 I will actually be planting sunflowers straight into the ground rather than transplanting them into the garden.<\/p>\n

I am planning on finishing up with seed planting in the garden sometime this week.\u00a0 I still have transplants such as broccoli, celery, lettuce, and brussel sprouts which will be planted in the garden later, but I just am hoping to finish up spring seed planting in the garden this week.<\/p>\n

I still have spinach, some more lettuce, and possibly kale and cabbage to plant in the garden.\u00a0 This all depends on the amount of space I will have left.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
