I have not planted everything into the garden just yet, but I only have a few more seeds and transplants left. I plan on finishing this week, weather permitting of course. Let\u2019s get into what has been going on in my garden.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>After planting my corn it was time to setup my bean trellis and get my bean seeds into the ground. I planted them about a couple weeks ago and most of them have started sprouting and I will have to soon thin them out so they have enough room to grow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9904.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2192 size-medium\" title=\"Bean Plants\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9904-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Bean Seeds Sprouting\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9904-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9904-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9904-1024x683.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/IMG_9904-700x467.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After that I weeded most of my peas and radishes which were starting to get overcrowded. My peas should begin producing pods within the next week or so as long as there is good weather.<\/p>\n<p>My radishes are starting to pop out of the ground, but this is normal and all you have to do is cover the bulbs with some garden soil to prevent exposure from the sun. I could thin them out, but I am only using them to attract bees and other insects. It looks like I placed the proper amount of seeds into the two rows that I have. I have a few more alyssum and dill plants that I need to put in the soil sometime this week. They are still not ripe and I will probably seed strawberries turn ripe before my blueberries. For now I have placed a net over the blueberries since they take much more time setting up a net. I also planted some zucchini, pumpkin, and pepper seeds into the garden as well.<\/p>\n<p>Tomatoes were also added to the ground this week. I did not think I would have the time to place them in the ground, but it didn\u2019t take that long to plant all of them in one day.
