growing. Since these are the only two plants that are in the garden so far that is what I will discuss in this post.

Once I plant more in the garden I will be giving updates on most of my plants, but only when they receive fruit or other events happen with them. It would not be wise to post pictures of these plants every day. I will however do an update at least once a week and when fruit starts to grow then the frequency will increase. For now let’s stick to onions and spinach. As you know from the previous post I added some wood ash and some lime to both plants. The onions received pelleted lime and a few spinach plants were given wood ash as a test. So far both plants are progressing like planned and they seem to be healthy enough to produce delicious and edible food.

Here you can see the plants that received wood ash are growing good and the wood ash seems not to have harmed the plant. This is good news and the next thing that needs to be done is actually eating the spinach leaves. This is always the last test with any type of harvest you produce.

<a most of them sprouting and thriving in this temperate climate. You can see the white powder that was created from the pelleted lime when it came in contact with water. This is what happens when you use this type of lime. It will eventually get into the soil after I water them a few times.

<a
