Lettuce plants are beginning to bolt, potato plants are still growing but are showing signs that they will soon be ready for harvesting, and peas are producing very little if at all.  So far I have only harvested two zucchinis from my summer harvests, but soon I will be picking more vegetables and fruit from my summer plants.<\/p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was able to pick some of the last lettuce from my plants last week and got a good amount of them.  I picked several red lettuce leaves and plenty of green lettuce leaves as well. Some of the plants are brown which I can start digging up, but I am waiting for more plants to start to turn brown in order to dig up most of my potatoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides picking zucchini I think the next vegetables that will be harvested might be my tomatoes.  I planted three different types of beefsteak tomatoes along with several cherry tomatoes and Roma tomatoes.  At the moment I have a beefsteak tomato plant that is beginning to produce the first tomatoes of the season. They don\u2019t usually take as long to ripen as tomatoes, but at the moment they only have flowers which is still a good sign for production soon.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_2910-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Pepper flowers now producing and hopefully peppers will come along real soon.\" class=\"wp-image-2410\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_2910-1024x683.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_2910-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_2910-768x512.jpg 768w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/IMG_2910-700x467.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of my onions are actually ready for harvesting now that the stems are beginning to fall over.  My yellow onions are doing quite well, but my red onions seem to be ready for harvesting.  I will probably be picking them from the soil real soon.
