A couple days ago during a nice warm day I wanted to get in the garden another row of corn and some transplants that I wanted to get out of the way.\u00a0 So far I have been adding a row of corn every five days and I only have about ten feet of planting space left.\u00a0 Once I am done with the corn and all the seeds have sprouted I can then remove the bird netting that is protecting my seeds.<\/p>\n

\"Third<\/a><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Peppers and melon were all planted in peat pots making them a little bit easier to transplant into the garden.\u00a0 I didn’t have to remove them from the pots because the material is biodegradable and the roots will easier break through without harming them.<\/p>\n

I have discovered that even though peat pots are a great addition for growing indoors plastic pots still are my choice for indoor planting.\u00a0 Using larger plastic pots will allow the roots to grow longer and keeping the plant healthy and strong for a longer period of time.\u00a0 When using small peat pots you don’t have the same luxury.\u00a0 This is something to keep in mind when growing indoors.<\/p>\n

\"Watermelon<\/a><\/p>\n

Right now you can see the plant may not be doing good, but once it adapts to the new soil and absorbs the nutrients it will perk up and start growing at an incredible rate.\u00a0 The same thing goes with the pepper below.<\/p>\n

\"Pepper<\/a><\/p>\n

I also have an update on the seeds that were planted in the garden a couple of weeks ago<\/a>.\u00a0 The bush beans and first corn seeds have started to sprout and are thriving very well with the sunny weather that we have been experiencing.<\/p>\n

\"Fully<\/a><\/p>\n

It is almost time to start picking strawberries as well.\u00a0 I noticed that some of my berries are beginning to start turning red.\u00a0 This is about the time when many strawberry picking farms are opening for the season.\u00a0 Since I have my own strawberries I won’t have to go very far to enjoy their delicious flavor.<\/p>\n
