Zucchinis Picked and Some Blueberries Too"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I had the opportunity to pick three more zucchinis that were well past ready and they are some of the biggest I have ever grown.\u00a0 Two of them were about normal size while one of them I could barely hold it in one hand because of its large diameter.\u00a0 It weighed five and half pounds which ended up being the heaviest zucchini that I have ever picked.\u00a0 There are others that will be picked very soon as well.<\/p>\n<p>Blueberries were picked recently and after a few more days with lots of sun many more blueberries were ready to be harvested again.\u00a0 The ones that were close to ready the first time have now been picked on this second time.\u00a0 I collected about a pound and a half this time.\u00a0 There is still plenty out there which I can use to make some delicious desserts.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Check out the size of the largest zucchini that I have ever produced.\u00a0 I can\u2019t even keep it in frame when I am holding it in my hand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Picture-3-023.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The good thing about these large zucchinis is that they don\u2019t go bad very easily and you can keep them for a few weeks before you need to use them.\u00a0 It all depends when you want to consume them.<\/p>\n<p>Have a quick look at some of the blueberries that I have picked this week.\u00a0 I am now beginning to pick the larger ones that come from some of the larger bushes.\u00a0 This seems to be the case every year.<\/p>\n<p><a
