Beans and Another Eggplant Harvested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today was a sunny day and a good one after having about a week of cloudy skies and rain which was definitely needed.\u00a0 I went out to the garden and find out how my fruits and vegetables were doing.\u00a0 I saw that there were more pole beans to pick even though they are starting to slow down.\u00a0 They keep producing flowers and as long as they do I will have to go outside and harvest more of them.<\/p>\n<p>The eggplants are still growing well and I took a look at some of them and saw that one was ready to pick.\u00a0 I now have two harvested eggplants that need to be cooked and eaten and four left to be harvest which may come very soon.<!--more-->Here are the latest two eggplants that I picked today and a few days ago.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-3-005.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-665\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-3-005-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Second Eggplant Harvest\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-3-005-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-3-005.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is the one picked today.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-008.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-666\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-008-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Third Eggplant Harvest\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-008-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-008.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They were both good sizes and weighed over two pounds each.\u00a0 The one I picked this afternoon was exactly two pounds and the one I previously got was two and a half pounds.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the latest pole beans that I decided on harvesting today since they reach a good size.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-003.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-667\" src=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-003-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Small Pole Bean Harvest\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-003-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/ericsorganicgarden.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Picture-4-003.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also have some peppers that are still outside and will be ready to be picked quite soon.\u00a0 I might do that tomorrow if
