Radishes and Peas Now Sprouting

Last updated on

A quick update on some of the seeds I had planted in the garden a couple of weeks ago.  Both my peas and radishes are now showing signs of life with some sprouting within the rows.  Let’s take a look at what they look like when they first pop up through the soil.

Below are just some of the radish seeds that have started sprouting.

Here are the pea seeds that are sprouting at this moment.

Along with my radishes and peas I also noticed that many of my onions are now growing stems.  I didn’t think they would begin growing this soon, but we have been having some cool and sunny weather lately.

I also had a few lettuce plants that needed to get into the garden as well.  There was one Ruby glow plant, two igloo, and one buttercrunch.  I still have many more plants to go including all my iceberg lettuce plants.  That is the only type that I haven’t transplanted yet.

I also have started planting some more alyssum in large plastic containers.  I probably will begin planting zucchini and pumpkin seeds sometime soon.  This is the last vegetable seeds that I need to start indoors.
