Both Potatoes and Strawberries Arrived Today

I wasn’t expecting my new plants to arrive today because it is still early in the season and it has not warmed up to weather suitable for planting them.  Luckily I probably could plant my potatoes because they will be placed in the ground protected by the soil.  I could possibly plant my strawberries and when cold weather occurs I can cover them with row covers or similar material.

Today and tomorrow it is supposed to be raining so I will most likely wait until Thursday when it is supposed to be bright and sunny.  My potatoes I can just throw right into the ground while I will have to soak my strawberry plants overnight before I get them into the ground.

For Now I will keep them in the refrigerator until Thursday and then I will put both of them in the ground.  Tomorrow I can start soaking my strawberries in a bucket of water.  My potatoes can just go right in the soil without any soaking.

Below are my strawberries and potatoes which will hopefully be planted by this week at the latest.  I would like to get them in as soon as possible.
