Indoors is the Best Place for Planting Tomatoes

My tomatoes are ready to be started inside along with all my many other plants that I have began to plant.  I will be growing the same types as last season with super sauce, steakhouse, and the wonderful and delicious cherry tomatoes.

I am growing a different type of cherry tomato than I have been growing the past many years.  I think it should bring just as many delicious tomatoes as my previous cultivar.

Like my other fruits and vegetables they will be put under fluorescent lights which are next to a small heat source.  They do need very little extra heat when sprouting.  It usually takes on about a week or so for them to protrude through the soil.

I also noticed the other day that I am already getting melon sprouts from mainly my cantaloupes.  I am sure that my watermelon seeds should beginning to sprout any day.  As for my other seeds I think it will take a little bit more time before I see them sprouting.
