Only a Couple Days Later Than Last Year for Planting Tomatoes Indoors

Last updated on

Yesterday was a good day to get started planting my tomato seeds and hopefully some others as well.  I did get all my tomato seeds planted in the usual containers that I use every season.  Like all the other seasons I stuck with the tomatoes that worked: cherry, Roma, and steakhouse (beefsteak).

I only got one container of watermelon seeds planted because I actually ran out of room underneath the lights.  My tomatoes usually take up all the space under these artificial lights.

Since most of the flower seeds are starting to sprout I can now use this space to start planting more seeds such as melons, peppers, eggplants, and many more.  For now I am going to give my flower seeds some more time to sprout and grow just a little bit more and then start planting these other seeds.

Most of the seeds that were planted earlier in the season have pretty much all sprouted.  I am just waiting on my celery  seeds to germinate which can take a little bit more time than my lettuce, brussel sprouts, and broccoli seeds.

This time I decided on five of beefsteak tomatoes, five cherry tomatoes, and only 24 Roma tomatoes.
