Small Harvest with Cucumbers and a Few More Zucchinis

Last updated on

I picked one cucumber this past Saturday, but I knew I would be picking more today so I decided to wait to write a post until I picked all the cucumbers that were ready. I also had some more zucchinis that were at the right size and decided to pick them as well.

For now I have picked a total of four cucumbers, three today and one on Saturday. They were all a good size and at least one pound or more. I have a couple of pickle cucumbers that look ready and will probably pick those really soon as well. I wanted to harvest my straight eight cucumbers for now and work on my pickle cucumbers later in the week.

Here is one of my pickle cucumbers that I am waiting to pick and will most likely harvest them real soon.

Zucchinis have been doing well and are still producing after the large harvest I did today. Four decent sized zucchinis were harvested today and I plan on picking more once my plants recharge and start growing more flowers.

My pumpkins are starting to grow good and I now have a few pumpkins that are beginning to thrive. I had only one the other day, but I checked all my pumpkin vines recently and noticed that there were a couple more pumpkins starting to grow. They are still small for now, but the ones I saw look like they have been pollinated.

Tomatoes are still growing well and it will not be long before I start picking them once they begin to ripen. I would say that my cherry ones will be the first to ripen since they are smaller and are usually they first anyways.

I did pick some more blueberries last week and I think it was my fourth harvest this season.  I still have more out there and I will most likely pick some more this week.
